Laptop Talk

Well it’s 7:45 am and Simon is off to school. This month Simon gets paid more than usual for his extra work he did over the holiday. With his money we decided we wanted to buy both of us a laptop. Mine is already bought and I am loving it and Simon already has his picked out. So this morning after I get some bank figures I get to set a budget for food for the rest of the month. I think it will be fun to be able to decide what to eat this month and how much to spend each week. The only fear I have is that we will be short and run out of food. I don’t want to buy our luxuries and force others to feed us, that doesn’t make any sense. So I really hope everything go according to plan and there are no unintended surprises that come our way.

We are discussing what we plan on doing for this month.

(…now past midnight) We looked through all the figures and talked to the bank and came to a decision. We bought his laptop. He is ecstatic. Its makes me happy to see him so happy. I can’t wait to see it on Tuesday or Wednesday or whenever it comes.
